Last week I decided to practice with some flower bloom animations. The result was what you see below. I enjoyed doing this frame-by-frame animation more than I expected.
Each flower you see is a different set of six frames. Even though it was reasonably quick to animate, I think the animation looks fairly smooth. This kind of small animation gives a lot of bang for the buck because it adds a lot of life to a scene for a (relatively) small-time investment.

I don’t have any lore for this plant yet, other than the name, but I think it could be a neat as an objective for quests. Perhaps it could have some useful ingredient or could be prized for its novelty.
As with all the game’s graphics, these were created with Adobe Animate. I will probably add some motion on the stems and leaves too – it’s a work in progress 😉. Let me know what you think!
